据报道，在该计划中，个人卖家将获得产品销售价格的5%作为积分，同时可以用积分在eBay平台中兑换购买的商品。eBay指出，通过该计划，用户将能够通过平台出售不再需要的东西，同时购买需要的东西，进而促进循环经济。

据eBay介绍，该计划的运作方式如下：

参与计划的卖家对销售商品价格的每一欧元可获得5个积分，每件商品的积分上限为15000分。兑换积分时，每100积分可兑换1欧元，可用额度将显示在购物车中要支付的金额下面，兑换时没有 低订单价值。

值得注意的是，以下商品类别不包括在该计划中：

硬币；

产品保修和保险；

汽配零件;

汽车、摩托车和其他车辆；

房地产；

动力艇；

帆船；

个人水上摩托；

其他船只和飞机。

此外，可兑换的积分有效期为60天。当完成另一项交易后，有效期将再延长60天。如果试点项目被eBay终止，那么积分在另外60天内仍然有效，目前eBay尚未给出终止日期。

据报道，通过此计划eBay希望进一步向个人卖家靠拢。托管支付的推出使个人卖家对eBay产生强烈不满，对此，eBay在5月降低了使用托管付款的个人卖家的费用，并对金额低于10欧元的订单，销售佣金由的固定部分从0.35降到0.05欧元。
